Ideology of Poetry

"Poetry is a spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings" (Wordworth). The previous quote is something i strongly agree with. In my opinion, the best time I write is when I am either going through something and I am full of feelings or when I think back of something that has happened to me in the past and those same feelings rush back and remind me again of what has happened. Most poems I have read are also full of emotion. Those "empty" poems are either very boring to read or are not even published because no one wants to read them. Once a person reads a poem they are suppose to feel what the writer is feeling, if the writer didn't express his or her strong feelings their poem will be dull to read.
